I assume there will be a trip to Ellicott and/or the waterfalls. Spoonauger and King's Creek Falls will both be close.

Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can.
    Pursuing it with eager feet
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say."

It's been seveal years since I hiked south of Burrell's Ford. I'd like to do that on Saturday too. Spoonauger is on the way and King's Creek is a slight detour. Big Bend Falls is down there too.

Things have taken a turn for the worse here.
The Mrs. has come down with something.
Right now, she's under a down quilt shivering, alternating between chills and fever. It came on her over just a couple of hours.

Unless it goes away as quickly as it came, there is no way I could go two hours away with no phone service.

If you don't see me, that's why.

Totally understand. Family always comes first. Especially the misses. I hope she gets better soon.

    I'm out!
Hate to miss it but have way too much going on and a 4-day backpacking trip next week.
