    bishop bag question

hello everyone. So I just recently purchased a wbbb 1.1 which comes with a bishop bag. As I await its arrival I am wondering if I can hang the hammock by the straps with the hammock in the bishop bag still to keep the hammock out of the way during porch mode. Or should I stick to my snakeskins to keep this function?

I ask because I really like to set everything up first and keep the hammock in its snake skins. This way we can all hang out under the tarp if it rains or what have you and the hammock stays out of the way. Thanks.

It actually doesn't. That's a double-closure stuff sack. A bishop bag only has one closure. The other end is a tiny fixed opening, like a button hole.

You can hang the hammock straps and leave the body in the double-closure bag, but when you deploy it you'll have to adjust the suspension to tighten things up quite a bit. At least you can if the hang is short enough for your suspension to reach with the hammock still stuffed away.
