FS: Brand New with Tags Ruffwear Singletrak Dog Backpack

Bought this pack but I feel that it's a little too big for my Blue Heeler so I don't like it. She is a fit, muscular, deep chested 35 lb Blue Heeler but she is still short and squatty. The length of the pack covers too much of her body.

Brand new and has all the tags.
Size Small. Fits 23-28 inch girth.
    Color is Brown.

I'm asking $70.00 or best reasonable offer

Pay Pal (including shipping to US addresses)

    Thanks all. KP

If this was the Approach pack I would be all over it. Too small for a 3+ day hike, I think, and I can't justify getting them both no matter how I look at it

Aawh common, you know you have more than one pack to choose from when you go out into the woods.

Seriously though, I would never load my dog up with more than a days worth of her food and snacks at a time. That's my job. That said, if you take the water bladders out of each side you can easily increase the volume.

I'd personally rather my dog carry food and treats and other solids and I carry his water. Then I don't have to worry about emptying water out of both sides to maintain the balance of his pack, and I have to fill one less water container. Granted, the water is a heavier than the food, but I think it evens out pretty well when he carries a consistent load during the day and mine goes down as we consume water.

Hey I agree. My dog never carries water. I had other plans for the .5 liter bladders. I only bought the pack because I like the sleek, no bouncing around, form fitting nature of the pack. But, once again it's too long for her body and would be a better fit for a larger dog. Happy hiking!

    Bumpity Bump.

This pack is still available. Make me a fair offer and it's all yours.

VaHiker: Personally I do believe it will fit. I know a guy that uses a size small Ruffwear pack on his very large pittbull boxer mix. Different pack but it's still a size small.
