Agreed. Pull the plug soon. We need to make sure those that are pulling off this group buy don't lose money on the deal. As such I expect to be shorted 1' or so on my fabric order. That way it should work out in favor of our benefactors. To that end (when I am not on my cell phone) I will up my order...

If I were closer, I'd offer to help cut and package... but it's a bit of a drive....

Sorry, I should of rephrased that batter.

The cutoff should be sooner. In less than 24 hours we have over 500 yards. With 4 days to go, this is going to be way too much for some to handle. That's a lot of money involved too.

No issue with stopping it sooner, as the OP decides.

There's precedent for Group Buy starters to bear in mind as a serious consideration - The Amsteel Buy ended at about 7.75 miles of cording. Buys can get unexpectely large quickly. It's probably a good practice to set a material limit, in addition to a time limit.
