    Glad to have you! Yes, the group site has a water hydrant and a his/hers close by..primitive however. There are several modern restrooms scattered throughout the park as well.

    New Flush toilets in restrooms built maybe 4-5 years ago. PGF got a facelift back when Govmnt money was available. The group site restroom is still seat and pit style. Not a far walk to the new ones.

    So as far as the prehike...what time thursday morning? Is parking safe there for a few days? Hike back out on Sunday?????

    I'm going to be shuttled to Caldedonia from PGF Thursday morning, probably around 8 or so. There is a parking area designated for hikers that is watched by the Park. If you want to hike north to PGF and catch a ride back on Sunday, I'm sure that would be possible.

    Great! Im planning hiking in. Just my time frame for coming back isnt the best. Hopefully I can make a friend for the ride back south. If not, Im not gonna be all that upset about another day off. :-) thanks!
