    Hello from the bay area!

Hello all, I purchased two Eno Double nest hammocks recently! excited to use them.

sadly I found out they do not come with straps (obviously I am new to this)

I have a question for you all. Could I get whoopie slings and would that be enough to hang my hammock in a tree or should I purchase the whoopie slings and the tree huggers?

    Welcome to HF from Mass.

Yes, you should get both the whoopies and the tree huggers, they will protect the tree from damage.

Welcome from the South Bay. I just spent last weekend making my first whoopies. Really simple to do (although I think I made some mistakes ). You can also buy them. As for tree huggers I purchased some from strapworks and they look awesome (I don't have a sewing machine and hate sewing by hand).

Welcome to HF from TN. It is best if you also have tree huggers (straps) to go around the tree and attach the whoopee's to them.....

Welcome from Cen*Cal!!! Make your own. Get some webbing from REI for your tree straps and Order some 7/64 amsteel from redden marine and make some whoopies. It's real easy.

Hey Evo, welcome to the forum. Using tree huggers will help protect the tree from damage so they should be used in conjunction with the whoopie slings.
