    BUT without the down sweater i was getting a chill around 35F thats why i put it on
    i still think a 45F rating is right for a sewn through quilt
    It puts the Underquilt on it's hammock ... It does this whenever it gets cold

    I find sewn thru to be easy to make.

    I had mine with 7oz down to about 40. but it was a bit chilly.

    you have to make them oversized, because you will compress a lot of you try to stretch them to fit you.

    All that said, baffled are superior in keeping you insulated for sure.
    But twice the sewing for me is twice the work and not easier
    YMMV
