My one and only TQ that I have was made buy Bloomgorge It's a 3 season tq with about 750 down fill. I have had this TQ in 15 degree weather with about 15 + winds and I was warm as a bug in a rug..

When I was trying to decide what top quilt to get, I ended up settling on JRB Sierra Sniveller. The other ones I considered were ones by Nunatak, Golite (I bought and sold that one off.). Hammockgear was barely getting going at the time (if I remember right) and wasn't on my radar.

I went with the JRB quilt because of it's shoulder width making it a good quilt for ground sleeping if necessary. I've never used the head hole, and probably never will, but it's worked great for over 150 nights. I've never had a problem with it. I give it the full Guy Smiley endorsement.

I ruled out the Nunatak quilt because it's about $150 less for only 1 oz. more in weight. I didn't like the Golite quilt.
