To be honest, I check almost daily to see if Shug has put out a new video. I have watched every single video he has on his youtube channel, just because everything he does is just so interesting, including his short bread cookies.

I think Shug and Les Stroud should hook up and make a survival/hammock camping show for the discovery channel.

There was a random guy I spoke with at the gas station the other day. He saw my pack in the back of my truck so we started talking hiking. He asked how i got my tent into such a small pack (haha, hook, line...), which naturally lead into hammock talk. Then out of nowhere he says, "I saw this dude on YouTube that had a bunch of videos about hammocks. I don't remember his name but he kept yelling WHOOOOO BUDDY!"

I couldn't believe it. I pulled out my phone and launched a Shug video. "That's the dude!" he said in amazement. So, after further hammock talk, he's coming over next week to start his very first DIY hammock. (...sinker!)

Shug's vids are the main reason I am getting off the ground. My first hammock has been ordered and should arrive next month with the tarp, same with my snakes. My whoopie slings and tie downs are sitting on my desk.

I got nothing on Les....I would just want to sit and jam....he on harmonica me on mandolin.
His trips look brutal. He needs to eat some pork brains in milk gravy to earn my respect.....
