Wow, I just got my Tadpole

I knew it would be small and lite but wow, it is lighter than I imagined. When you take it out or the envelope it came in (yes an envelope) and really inspect it it is just amazing. You can really appreciate the effort put into it. Others can do cheaper but no one (other than my Nikon equipment) does a better job than "Made in America". Thanks to everyone at Wildernesslogics. Needless to say I will be sleeping under my new tarp hoping for some moisture.

    Thanks again,
    - Gary -

You know, I could tell you were a photographer by your sigline.

I'm seriously tempted to get a tadpole. It's as light as an asym tarp, but with extra coverage! I'm a little hesitant to pull the trigger though because I don't have any money!

May I ask what you are covering with it? Is it your GTUL? I'd be covering a WBBB, so I don't know how the length compares.

Anyway, all the best with your new tarp; I can almost feel your excitement from here.
It's bad luck to be superstitious.

Nice! I've had a couple of chances to speak to Marty at WL, and you can tell he really likes what he does, and takes alot of pride in his products. I was extremely impressed with his customer service, and decided to purchase a black tadpole as well, can't wait till it arrives! Got any pics to tide a fellow over?

    Ditto!

And on a more serious note.... I have the oldman winter and love it, but I have been contemplating getting a tadpole too.

I got my tadpole about 1.5 weeks ago, been too busy to get out and set it up. Might do it today. It does pack super small. I opted for no tri-loops, but not on purpose I forgot to select them as an option. Now wishing I would have ordered tri-loops so I don't have to attach my guyline straight to the webbing on the pullouts. Maybe I can figure some way of attaching them myself...

I have that Tadpole and it does a fine job covering my WBBB with no problem. I was in the Bitterroots this past summer in thunder storm with a massive downpour that lasted half the night and I never got a drop of wet on me..... Just a great tarp....
