WOW! Seem's to be more then a few folks here from northern CA. Thanks for the warm welcomes.
I would like to join in on the upcoming hangs, but won't have a hammock by then. We are really wieghing our options and not to make a snap choice. I'm thinking we (my girlfriend and I) each get our own set ups, while she's leaning twords an Eno double nest. We each see pros and cons.....we just want to do all of our homework first and buy once.

Hey Bart! Greetings from central California (Clovis). There was a movement years ago to springboard off your BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) locally, but somehow Fresno Area Rapid Transit didn't "come up roses".

No need to fret too much about the hammock choice, the first one you buy is just that the FIRST one you buy.

Don't worry about buying a hammock just yet, we're car camping this coming weekend and I for one would be fine showing you my hammock setup as I'm sure anyone else going would too. think about it, and welcome to HF - we're a pretty great bunch of people if I don't mind praising everyone here.
