Just curious if anyone hang in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park? If so, which campsite(s) were your favorite to hang at?

The Park had a tremendous storm over the 4th of July,,here is a list of campsites and roads that are still closed either by the storm damage or bears.

I haven't found many campsites I didn't like. Not sure of the water situation so maybe you might plan, if your backpacking up the creeks and hanging where you know there is water.

'Classic.' A book which people praise and don't read.” ― Mark Twain
Who cares about showers, gourmet food, using flush toilets. Just keep on walking and being away from it all.
There are times that the only way you can do something is to do it alone.
Ewker its good for two hangers easy, more if willing to bush it a bit. Wait till water is up and paddle almost to the trees.
I enjoy the sites out on Deep Creek Trail and Nolan Divide - sites 53, 54, 55 & 61 were all pretty nice (if you enjoy the trail less traveled). Take note though, 61 was on alert earlier this year.
