FWIW, the limited stock and closing down notice was posted on his site for quite a long while now. Placing a direct order without contacting about stock seems iffy.

Agree the order mechanism should be shuttered, but that's up to Brian alone.

Hope the OP here gets his tarp. Suggest anyone else contacting before ordering though...at least until he re-opens, hopefully someday.

I've followed this thread from the start as a disinterested party. I didn't pay attention to the dates of an old posting when I came on a recent one which was most disparaging, made just a few days after an order had been placed.

I believe Brian went through something akin to an informal "business reorganization." It is all here. I'd like to see the guy, a stranger to me, be treated in his business as well as any business that has sought protection in receivership or reorganization. And in this case, except for late delivery on orders--yes, I know that has real consequences -- everybody was made whole; there were no losses.

I'd like this thread to be closed rather than see this business and person as though it is BP --the oil company and refiner -- and he is a recidavist every time someone hasn't received a reply several days after placing an order. Not censorship, just a fresh start.
