Can the JH's netting be dropped when not needed?
The website says to flip the hammock over when you don't want the netting, but I have just dropped it and slept on top of it with no harm done.

It's not a Claytor Jungle but this pic of a DD hammock should give you an idea of how to deal with the netting if you don't need it:
“Light thinks it travels faster than anything but it is wrong. No matter how fast light travels, it finds the darkness has always got there first, and is waiting for it." -Terry Pratchett
I have put tie straps along the back edge of the hammock to tie the bugnet off before too. That works but you need to put the ties all the way to the ends to keep the bugnet out of your face. Mule

Thanks for the replies fellas...now that neo's talked some sense back into Tom, I'll give'em a good look.
I don't sleep on the bug netting. I would be afraid it's too fragile to handle my tossing/turning and would tear. I just flip it over the side of my JH. Works fine.

Anyone know what the general consensus is on the DD hammocks? Pricing looks good...
