Big Agnes Hinman Pad

Im really attracted to this BA pad, because of price and temp range. Has anybody used one in a hammock? Im a hennessy hammmocker, and since I lay diagonally, my problem with pads has been the sideways(widthwise) tension this position puts on them, specially on thicker ones that are rolled up for storage: they can take alot of lengthwise tension, but widhthwise they end up tearing or loosing their insulation properties. I believe there's also another problem since i feel this tension is not applied uniformly though the whole pad while laying diagonally. On the upper body part its stronger coming from the right side and on the bottom part of the boddy its stronger from the left side.

I have and use the BA Insulated Air Core pad in a HH no matter what the temp and have never had a problem. BA pads are made of some relatively thick and tough material. I would look at other options than the Hinman pad though. All of the ones under the 20 degree are INSANELY heavy. An Insulated Air Core and CCF would get you well below freezing.
