Hey , new to hammock camping just got my first HH, I use a gortex mil bag, thermarest pad, any other ideas for winter gear? I also was thinking about the two rings and clip method of hanging on YouTube any ideas, and I don't get the whoopie sling why use it just for weight?
Yeah live in upstate ny near adirondack park hiked some of the mountains around here. Thinking about doing the whole 46er thing soon some of my friends hv completed it a few times, but way to fast for me. I want to enjoy being out in the woods fishing etc. Not really into racing to get them done.
