You'll have no doubt about the quality. Shipping is cheap also. Probably cheaper than driving to your local Jo-Anns if you have one.

To be on topic.... I have used anything and everything under the sun for thread. The only times I've had a problem is when the thread is too rotten to hold up. As long as you stay away from cotton thread you should be ok. At least I have been.
