Just curious....what are everyone's thoughts on having the summer hang near Portland next year (2013)? Maybe on Mt. Hood?

There will be a HF banner, but i am not sure exactly where, yet. Not sure if i want to put it near the road, it might get vandalized or turn up missing. Only on loan from HF's. I will try and figure something out.

So, my plan is to head down after I get off work in the morning. Depending on the time, I might make a stop at GoLite in Woodburn, otherwise, I'm stopping on my way back on Sunday. I have room for one in my truck, plus gear. PM me if you want a ride!

i have a grey outback with roof cargo.

sites are easily accessed on the s/sw/w side of scott lake. not sure if they'll be #'ed now that its $5.
road ends at a trailhead.

i'd say hang the HF banner at the roads end near the info board.

*don't forget the insulation, published low i saw was 34F

The lake is also very well signed. You should have no problem finding it.
