I see that ENO is now offering their hammocks treated with insect shield. Wondering if anyone here has field tested them. I imagine it would just be easier (and less expensive) to treat one at home.

I agree. I haven't used one but I would imagine treating your single or double at home with permethrin would have the same results for cheaper. I wouldnt spend the extra shekels on one.
Their pretreated materials will likely last much longer than DIY permethrin. At least that is the case for clothing, but I imagine it is the same for a hammock.
