    New UL Summer UQ

Finally got a chance to finish my summer uq. I used 7D fabric for top and bottom and used .35oz cuben for the baffles. Really liked using the cuben for the baffles.
    46"x52"
    1" baffles
    5oz of 850 down
Total weight with hardware and stuff sack is 9.5oz

WOW! That's my kind of underquilt! Good job!

I recently made a top quilt with 6 oz of 800 FP down and the 7D fabric. I did the Karo Step for the first time.
    That fabric is beautiful!

oh i like black and that beer, hopefully it's part of the weight and kit. that's pretty sweet and should lighten your pack up nicely.

i assume this UQ design is a 2/3, 3/4 type based on the length. what do you do for your feet? did you use a white thread

It's a light grey thread. I like the contrasting look. I have the pad from the backpack for my feet. I would consider it a 3/4.
