It's always best if your an early riser!
Serious weather like that scares the **ll out of me. Don't like high winds (branches) and lightning freaks me out. Never really thought about a tornado Can't imagine where you would hide. Feel for those who lost their lives and homes
The hail storm in Indy yesterday lasted about 15 minutes and size of hail was from Ti Ti small size up to 2" as well,,ground and parking lot was completely covered. Amazing thing was, car doesn't have a dent in it anywhere as I have checked it a couple of times now and wiped it down even outside this morning rechecking it. Everybody checked their vehicles and no dents. My heart goes out to everybody that got hit hard by yesterdays storms and to all the familys that lost loved ones and everything they lost. I made a contribution to the Amer. Red Cross and Salvation Army as they are down in Southern Indiana in full force working their butts off as well. Mother Nature is a little tough this spring with this sevear La Nina and strong jet streams.

Thanks for sharing the video. I love storms....but not that kind of storm. I'm glad you are safe. My heart hurts of all the lives that were lost in that storm yesterday.
Glad that you made it out of there safe, I was surprised how well the tarp held up under the hail. I have always been woried about what hail would do to a tarp, since it has put many dents into my car.
Weather is an amazing force.
All to often, deadly as well.
Pray for the victims of the storms, unfortunately there will surely be more to come.
Glad you made it through OK and have a nice video to remember the thrill by.
Thanks for sharing.

I don't know if I'd worry too much about an underquilt protector. How often do you camp in a tornado?
wow, that was pretty crazy. too bad you didn't have a 9 iron with you
