Having recently been given a $50 gift certificate to our local JAX outdoor store, I took along Dejoha's book. Handed it to the manager behind the counter and told him "You really need to stock this book." He looked it over some and seemed receptive, so I told him to look it over some more, I have a gift certificate to use up. Asked if I'm Derek, I said "no just an absessive hammock camper." I went to look at camelbacks, and he disappeared to his office with the book. After he came back he said he'd get with someone else and order a few. Just doing my part to get the world of the ground, and outa the mud. Yeah, I bought a camelback, so I'm not just a flake, but a paying customer.

I did the same thing this passed weekend at an Alabama Outdoors store in Trussville, AL. The young lady behind the counter asked what we were needing the eight needle stakes for and we told her our hammock tarps. She gave the......"ya'll are camping in hammocks?!?!". My reply was.."of course, don't you?", long story short she carried one but only to lounge at camp. Gave the info on HF as well as Dereks book. She didn't want to buy the book and have to pack it so I told her it was also available for Kindle and she expressed interest in that..........
