    Whoopie sling help

The adjustable loop of me whoopie sling was pulled all the way into the adjustable loop bury. Is there a way to fix this

Sometimes you can loosen the bury all the way through (contracting it to shorten it loosening the weave) and simply push it back up using the tail end. A bead in the adjustable (for future whoopies) can help this from occuring again.

Is it deep within or can you still touch it? I have tried also using a tool to grasp it gently and with the bury loosened I gently push up at the tail as I pull the loop with the tool.

This can be done - happened to me on a hike and I didn't have a spare whoopie. Start at the point where the loop has retreated. Spread the strands of the bury till you can see and grab the adjustable loop. I used my teeth to hold it as I milked it back out, but any tool could be used to hold it while you milk it back out.

It's a very common problem and requires patience and a lot of "picking" at it...http://www.hammockforums.net/forum/s...ad.php?t=30797.

Small sharp pointy tools, a hemostat, small needle nose pliers, small darning hooks, etc. can be your friend.
