Something along those lines. I make insulated hammocks, and I'll probably make one with down and cuben pretty soon. When the insulating layer is hanging below the hammock there isn't the same pressure on the structure as there is with an air matress supporting the sleeper, but I'd like to be able to speed up inflation and deflation, so some sort of valve and pump/bag will be necessary. Sounds cool. If you make an insulated hammock similar to Strung Out's, take a look at some of the contact cements for the cuben baffles. I've had good luck with them in peel compared to the tapes.
