I'm drawn to the open country. Its where the world makes the most sense. When I put myself out there I always return with something new.
Cool water falls! I thought you might have been in our neck of the woods when I saw Laurel Fork Falls but I guess that would be a very popular name.
Thanks for the video.

Another great video production, Jeremy!
It's good to get out in the woods by yourself, gives one time to reflect and think.
Thanks for sharing your trip with us. See ya' on the trail soon, my friend!

You're right about the suspension bridges, nothing is more fun than making them bounce and swing.

That’s a good idea... If I did some walks over there, I’d only hike at night, when the bears are asleep. Get yourself a pillow. Yes, that was some perfect weather you had there, very nice! Yeahhe, bridges are great and suspension bridges are even better! Your commentary was fantastic!
Thanks for the video, carolinasbackpacker!
Great Trip Report Thanks!
I enjoyed the vid. Thanks for sharing
Great trip report, thanks for sharing. If you really like suspension bridges, there is a 220' suspension bridge over the Toxaway River, about 5.8 miles west of Laurel Fork Falls. You can also access it via Gorges State Park and the Cane Brake Trail (5.5m). I have the Catalyst but it is way too big, especially for 3 seasons. I've really had my eye on the OHM 2.0 so I appreciate the review on that as well.
Beautiful looking area, the second camp site looked like a great place to hang your hammock. Too bad about the goats being there before hand.
Maybe one day people will learn to take better care of nature so that everyone can enjoy it more.
