How high do you hang your Tarp?

I know this would vary depending on weather.
Some hang their tarp right across the hammock ridgeline when it's really storming.

I'm more interested in what is your favorite height in moderate weather and why if you wouldn't mind answering.

    thanks

I personally like to hang mine high enough such that I can stand fully upright under it.

    Cheers

Just above head height for me too, I get a bad back if I dont.

It also keeps me drier because of better venting, I hardly ever get condensation on the tarp if its over head height.

FWIW, my recently fitted tarp pull outs have made much more head room, I wish I'd put them on before.

I agree with the "just above head height" answer.
Also, I find myself (since I've taken to using an overhead ridgeline for the tarp) just flopping one side back if I need to mess about with the hammock or other gear under there.

Just above head height in porch mode with my hiking poles. Give me room to move around, cook, be social if I'm hiking with someone else, but also protects me from the elements.

Just around head height myself - many times in porch mode. Lower if needing to hunker down.

    How I hang my tarp:

Fair weather; as high as I can reach.
Mixed weather; just higher than head height.
Foul weather; just above the ridge line.

I like mine closer to the hammock. I guess my typical setup is around shoulder height or so. If I'm under the tarp I'm sitting or laying in the hammock so being lower doesn't bother me that much. I do prefer the porch mode setup whenever possible. The lower pitch just makes it easier to close up for the afternoon showers that are frequent up the hill.
