I agree... This was my first winter with an UQ and I was a little sceptical to ditch pads altogether, so during the colder nights I supplemented with pads. I’ve tried a blue pad, a thermarest, and a reflectix pad. I thought the reflectix worked the best: retained more warmth and moulded to my shape better. I rounded off the corners so it would fit into the hammock a little nicer. Plus, it never hurts to have a roll of reflectix around; when you don’t need it as a pad anymore, you can cut it up into sit-pads & cozies.
