Just looking for some budget ripstop and was wondering if I could use it from an old tent fly?
Just want to use it for triangle thingies and maybe a Grizz beak
Let me know what the opinion is

Re-purposing fabric is done all the time. The key issues are weight and integrity. If you can get the amount of fabric out of the tent and it is light enough for your tastes/purposes then go ahead. Just make sure the fabric is not UV damaged from sun exposure. Only you can make that determination by looking at the fabric. If it is weakened to start with you might not want to use it.
I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.

The tent was only used about 5-6 times until my 9 yr old got sick inside it. The fly is in great shape
