I'll see your disagreement and raise you another disagreement

The reason I include my clothes worn is that I usually wear pants that weigh 4.1 ounces in men's large. I don't have any street clothes less than double that weight! I see people hiking in jeans that have to weigh 4 times that much. It does make a difference!

Oh, and my shoes weigh 6.5 ounces each - size 11's!

    call your disagree

It is still clothing that you have to wear. What you wear doesn't matter nor does the weight of it. Some folks wear heavy work boots and they are use to it so to me it doesn't count

Who cares about showers, gourmet food, using flush toilets. Just keep on walking and being away from it all.

There are times that the only way you can do something is to do it alone.

I have two pair of BackpackinLight's Thorufare pants at 4.1 oz.
However they haven't made any more for nearly two years and BPL is now out of the gear business.

In current production, I also have RailRider's Bonefish Flats pant at 8.5 oz and their Eco Mesh and Adventure Khaki pants, both at 10 oz, 9 oz once you lose the belt. These are all size 36"x34".
