WBBB - Drip lines needed?

I was curious if anyone with a WBBB w/ webbing suspension uses drip lines? If so, is it important to keep the webbing flat or can it be tied tight with the webbing sorta folded? or if you tie a knot behind the buckles with the webbing does that act as your drip line?

Unless they are perfectly flat, and there's no wind, the buckles should be fine as drip points.

If you're paranoid, you could tie a spare shoelace onto the buckles (one end to one side of the buckle and the other end to the other side so it doesn't matter which way it slopes) and that would take care of it. It also gives you some spare cordage for emergencies (like a snapped shoelace for example ).

With any all webbing suspension, a simple trick is to hang the hammock with a few twists in the webbing. Water will fall off at each vertical spot in the pattern.

I wish I had a picture of this, but imagine crepe paper streamers hung at a party and think how they are always twisted.
