I tried and tried to make a HF icon for the Google map but they just kept coming out to large.

To edit your icon hit the edit button, then click on your name in the left hand column. After it brings up you placemark with the little balloon thing you can click on the blue tear drop (right next to your name in the balloon) and it will give you a selection of new icons and even let you add your own.

You can also add pictures, links, and other info in your balloon.

I just scaled one down to what looks to me to be about the right size. See the maps.

Anyone want to use it, just use the url below when you tell the maps you want a custom icon

I think that will do it.

    Thumbs down evil empire

Just found out that using Mozilla Firefox as your web browser does not allow you to change your icon in Google Maps. Had to resort to opening the Evil Empire's, Mickeysoft Internet Explorer to accomplish it with.

Pass the word that you need to activate the witch in order to do it.

I use Firefox exclusively and editing icons work just fine for me.

    also with Firefox

I did all my tinkering under Firefox also. On a Mac though, on which all of the Evil One's software is relegated to a virtual machine whose disk image can be sent to /dev/null if ever it misbehaves.
