    underquilt thingies for clark

I use a KAQ 2/3 underquilt for those below 40 temps in order to be as comfortable as possible. I have been looking at the Arrowhead equipment site and they have in their store a underquilt thingie that appears to simplify hanging a full or partial UQ below a hammock. ( two different styles are available-Full UQ or Partial UQ)
    Question:
Has anyone tried this, or are using this on a Clark? Better yet, has anyone used it on a NX250?
This appears like a nifty idea, but does it really work for a better UQ hang on a Clark? Since I use the clark ropes with drip rings, maybe this will work better in my application?
You can see the Quilt thingie HERE

I have used them with a KAQ NEw River on a CJH NX-200 and they work great. You can also look at the clark and on both sides as well as both ends of the opening you will fing small loops of grosgrain. I put small beiners in these loops to keep the middle of the UQ from sagging because the loops on the KAQ NR are perfectly spaced.

Perhaps the KAQ Thingies may not be necessary on the Clark with a KAQ underquilt, if I use the small loops as Bigbamaguy descriped. Next time I hang, I'll take a look.
    Thanks for the input!!

I think success with triangle thingies would depend on model. I have a pair, and cannot find a good way to use them on my NX250 (due to the tent pole curve). The only way to use them would be to use the triangle thingy all the way out on the suspension (which really changes the angle they would suspend at), or theoretically on top of the "tent", which is just asking for trouble imo.

On a ridgeline model, they would likely work as intended though.

Thanks for the input, I am going to skip the purchase of a "Thingie".
Looks like it is not a good application on the NX250 Clark Hammock.

for the record, I have had no trouble hanging my full length UQ from the 250 suspension, it does stretch the UQ suspension elastic a bit, but its not too bad imo. Gives a nice tight hang
