Howdy! My name is James I live in central TX and am interested in hammocking throughout the southwest. I'm new to backpacking too so I joined this forum to learn more about this unconventional camping style.

Welcome from Florida! You have plenty of good folks to hang with in Texas. I've attended their annual group hang and you must put it on your calendar for November.
