Question Hammocking WCT is it possible?

My buddy and I are planning a thru hike of the WCT this summer. We are both hammockers so naturally that is what we want to use as our main system. But by the looks of most pictures it looks as if we'll be on the beach at night most of the time.

Anyone here done it, and is it possible to do it hammocking only, or do we need to change our sleeping plans.
I miss my 4.8Lb base weight as a ground dweller...But I sure DON'T MISS the ground.

I've never been, but it certainly looks to have plenty of trees. And lots of drift wood top build a stand out of perhaps.

The problem (so it seems) is you walk through woods all day, but then at night, the trail goes down to beach, and thats where you stay. You have to stay at the designated campsites if I read things correctly. And the trees are up on these huge cliffs that seem like you could get to. Oh well we'll see how it goes.
