$75 is still the price. Izula is basically new; it's been tried by feathering a piece of dowel.

I puchased the Izula without the scales and the idea of using it as a 'necker' with an Amsteel or Zingit wrapped handle. I found the knife and PVC sheath too big and heavy to wear around my neck so I added the scales and was going to carry it with my cook kit as a back-up. Then I figured out I couldn't afford a $100 kitchen knife that weighed almost as much as the cooking stuff.

A Kydex sheath would be a big plus for it but I have to draw the line somewhere. I have a Gunny and a SAK, and I'm going to learn to face the great outdoors with just one knife for each hand.
