    Hi new from ct

    Hi there! Im Dave from ct. New to the hiking world. Really excited about starting. Ive seen alot of great stuff on this forum . I like the diy section.

    As I recall CT has strict laws about campfires, hard to find good places to camp. My parents live there and I usually have a hard time finding good spots when Im home. Where do you usually go? What part of CT are you from?

    I live about 30 min from Hartford. Not sure about fire rules around. I found a few parks that allow them and i have a fire pit at my house. I know there r towns that dont allow it. I would guess that my town doesnt either but i live in the woods. No one bothers us about it
