    Greetings from South Georgia

    Well here it is, my official "here I am" post to get myself out of lurking status.

    Name is Mark, I'm Air Force and stationed in South Georgia for way too long already, wanted to get some outdoor time in and started to take this day hiking thing more seriously. Gets me outdoors, I go out on the weekends and wanted to extend my distances, so I bought a hammock. Looking into accessories and options I came across you bunch.

    In my lurkings I found several youtube links and have had some laughs (Yeah, I'm lookin at you Shug) and have learned a lot already. I'm glad to be here, to those who run the site, thanks for setting it up, hopefully I can contribute to the wealth of knowledge already in place on this site.

    Hey olddog, I'd never be that lucky. I'm currently serving a 4 year sentence - um, I mean tour at Moody. I happen to live in "the other Lakeland" just a tad NE of the base.

    That's close enough to make it to our 3rd Annual Florida Hang next January.
    Most of us end up poorer here but richer for being here. Olddog, Fulltime hammocker, 365 nights a year.
