    group hang

If you were to choose a tarp for a group of hammocks to all hang under wich tarp or tarps would you choose?

Maybe some of y'all have more experience with itbut I'm wanting to hang two or three people under the same tarp in close proximity. I want to upgrade my tarp any ways so I thought I would do it to aford my self the options of hanging me and my family at once. What do y'all think

I dont think an entire family can fit, but I like by Gudie Gear 12 x 12.
They are hard to find and you have to sew on two tie out loops to use with a hammock.

The Chinook 12.5 z 9.5 is also a big tarp, but I like the square shape of the Guide Gear better.

I have put two tarps under both and was even able to button up a good bit.

Kelty makes a 12x12 and a 16x16. I have the Kelty 12 to cover two hammocks. I imagine the challenge is finding trees for three hammocks close enough and situated in a way that you can hang the tarp over all of them. Kelty makes a good tarp and it comes with the rope, figure 9's and the pegs. Good luck.

You can find them on Amazon or campmor. Google it and you will find even more places that sell them.

There are tons of junipers and ceader trees where I live trees are really close together so that's not so much of an issue. I'm more interested in what peoples chices might be if you had the situation. I was thinking of a superfly but maybe it would be more sensable to go with something heavyer/cheaper. I'm still deliberating.

You might combine 2 rectangular or winter tarps in porch mode to cover 3 hangers if you can get the porches sloped back properly to shed rain.

I think I can cover it with one winter tarp but that is a cool idea to shingle them in porch mode to get more coverage, Nice.
