I don't know if camping is allowed along that trail. I could be wrong, but I've hiked it before, and I didn't really see any campsites or private areas. I do know that just a mile or so up the parkway is Black Balsam which intersects the Art Loeb Trail. There are tons of possible sites up there as well as a connecting trail to Graveyard Fields, but I don't know how long it is. There's also a rather sizeable parking lot with a privy and trash collectors.

Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can.
    Pursuing it with eager feet
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say."

Hmmm- Last time I hiked at Graveyard I saw at least 10 hammocks pitched along the trail. Maybe they were stealth camping? I just though it would be a good place due to the HUGE parking lot. Hike would be less than 2 miles.

Sometime after Friday I'll figure out some details. If we can get some interest I will plan a hang. If not I guess it will just be me and some friends. This area is great because it's right in the corner of NC, SC, GA, and TN.

Camping is definitely good to go there -- did it several years ago. Cool place -- would be interested in a trip.

Ok, I was wrong them (it's been known t happen)! Should we put a date on it? I'm always eager to see that area, plus there are at least two very nice waterfalls at Graveyard Fields.
