Bring your Alpacka, too. If we catch a break, the Upper Kiamichi may be floatable.
I talked to a ranger last year, and he recommended the overflow area (not shown on the map). I was in there several years ago, and it was pretty nice, but primitive. Going to the toilets and showers will involve a long walk, or driving, unless they've put some pits in down there. I may just drive down this week, and check it out. I doubt that reservations are needed, but I'll ask.
