    Triglide as a Dutch Buckle?

Does anyone use a JRB Triglide in the same manner you would use a Dutch Buckle? I've tried it with success recently. I don't see how it is any different.

The only point I have seen brought up is the Tri-glide doesn't have the little "wings" to make sure the sling doesn't pop off or get bumped off when the hammock isn't under load. I imagine it would work fine if you were mindful of that.

I've been using a pair of stainless steel triglides from West Marine lately. They're actually smaller than JRB triglides and work just fine. No problems with slipping off. I was just wondering if anyone else has more experience. I like the adjustability of them.

I've used my triglides as well. No issues. After being loaded, they stay put. As with any suspension, I check them before I get in.
