    new website for gram weenies

i found a cool new website for any gram weenies out there, or just anyone who, like me, likes the organization of easy to use packing lists. you can log all your gear into your "library", as well as their weights, descriptions, categories, etc. then you can drag and drop them into customized packing lists. the program automatically finds the weight of your pack, and some other cool features. the website is http://www.geargrams.com/.

That site has been around for a few years now. There are a few threads about it in the off-topic forums.

Thanks! I must have missed those other threads because this is the first time I've seen that site. Appreciate the heads up.

I have been using this for a while now. It is a great resource to organize the gear and you can print out lists in PDF format too.
    Take care,

It WAS nice to use gear grams when it first came out. It was simple and clear. But lately geargrams won't open for me. They just tell me I need flash player and provide links that don't work. Waste of time.

For those that use an iPhone, Android or an iPad there is an app called "Gram Weenie" that works well. List all your gear by category and than create trip lists by selecting the gear for each trip.

Wow! I'll bet their download numbers are going to go up! I just increased it by 1.
    Thanks for that tip!

This I have been using for 6 months or so. Love it. My ONLY issue with it is that you can not mark multiple items when creating a list. Other that that it keeps everything organized and gives you a great pack weight tally on the bottom.
