Cool BBWB SL Hammock vrs DL Hammock

Currently looking at Blackbbird Hammocks. Can anyone give me their opinion as to the advantages/disadvantages of the DL vrs. the SL other than weight. I currently hang a clark hammock, but am intrigued with the Blackbird.

Weight tends to be the deciding factor for most (and weight it can hold). I asked durability and Brandon recommended a DL. Also usefull with a pad (even though I tend not to use one. I have SL but like the feel and durability of DL's. I'm gram conscious but not yet a gram weenie!

If you use a pad then a double layer hammock helps to keep the pad from sliding around

The first time I hung in my wife's WBBB I was pleasantly surprised how much more support I felt in my lower back; very comfortable. I'm not sure of the fabric that Brandon uses but it feels very soft against the skin and is rather resistant to stretch (perhaps a mixture of DL and fabric). My $.02 says go with the DL if you're not concerned about a few extra grams. Either way you cannot go wrong.
