Looks like that great little red canoe is bringing you lots of joy and will continue to do so for many years to come. It's great going camping in the back woods without having to worry so much about the weight.

Its sure is and thanks for watching... It’s a different adventure with a water craft I have found; in that not only is the paddle part of the adventure (as is the hike) but then, as you say the weights can increase to try other cooking methods and food sources.

With the recent rains and subsequent flooding the water was not ideal for fishing, despite these challenging conditions Dan hooked up on a nice pan sized flathead on the return paddle.

Well said to whoever it was who said oowwwww when the camp oven was opened. I oowwed right along with you. Kayaks, and or conoes, push bikes and backpacking go so well together with hammock camping. It kind of seems natural to get into all of them in order to increase the joys of hanging out in a hammock. Plus, with kayaks, you can take more stuff along to allow for bigger cook ups. Thanks for the video!

I couldn't believe how well the Dutch oven works, just so easy. That was my first try at doing it so for a first round I’m looking forward to seeing what possible. Thanks for watching mate.

Haha Smarteee will chuffed with the Spam hat recognition (I’m sure he wears it just for you Shug!) Thanks for watching. The adventures Part 1 and 2 look at the purchase and refurbishment of the Red Canoe and then go one to look at its maiden voyage with Bateman playing test pilot and myself testing out my fishing skills of years gone by.
