Superior Hiking Trail Tree Hugger length

Hey all you Minnesotans!
I am looking to purchase some tree huggers for my new bridge hammock. I am a newbie and never been on the Superior Hiking Trail, but it is where I want to do some hiking and hanging. Can anyone give a suggestion on what general length of tree hugger webbing I should invest in? I am sure there are a varying tree diameter up there, but would appreciate any advice as to what to get. My hammock has whoopie slings if that matters and plan on using a toggle, or carabiners.

I use one 5ft and one 4ft and never had trouble finding trees up there.

I have 6 footers and I usually have some strap left over.

Most of the trees that you're going to hang from in this part of the state aren't too big around. Sometimes you may need the extra strap due to distance between the trees, but you can usually find closer trees nearby if needed.

I like to err on too much strap than not enough. The weight difference isn't important to me, but I don't count grams all that closely.

Well, I'm not a Minnesotan, but they have let me cross the border several times to hike the SHT.

I've mainly used 5 foot straps on the SHT, and have sometimes thought I should go to 3 foot, but probably not worth the risk. I don't think I've ever hung there where 4 foot wouldn't have worked fine.

I have 2-6 footers...probably overkill for the SHT, but I like knowing I will always have enough. Like others have said, 4-5' will work.
