    Ridgeline help

I am trying out a ridgeline for my ENO DN. I am not sure what I am doing wrong with it. It is fairly tight when I am not laying in it but once I am it sags badly. Where am I wrong?

The hammock stretches. Nothing more complicated than that.

    hmmm

It could be the trees bending, or the suspension stretching when you get into the hammock.

Is your hammock taught before you get in?

Thanks for all the tips. I thought it probably had something to do with the load but I had not considered the angle of the suspension. I will play around with that. Thanks a ton.

My suspension is that the suspension is to tight. When you pull everything tight then load the hammock it drops more than it normally would if at a good 30 degree angle. Which will bring the ends of the hammock together creating sag in the new ridgline. Try raising the tree straps and or loosening the suspension so that your suspension is going up more at a 30 degree angle.....you can also have someone watch when you enter the hammock and judge how much the hammock lowers when you climb in, if everything is copacetic then it should lower just a little.

What are you using for tree huggers?
Whats the rest of your suspension? Webbing, whoopies, etc.?
