Should I go out this weekend?

This weekend our day time highs will be 60, our night time lows will be 35ish. I will be near the coast and I am not sure what the temperature of the ocean is, so it may feel a bit cooler or warmer depending.

But I am still anxiously waiting for my Te Wa to get here, bur assuming it does not make it to me by this weekend, do you think I would be comfortable with just the following: (I am a cold sleeper)

Insulation Factor: A Therm-a-Rest ProLite 3. 35 degree sleeping bag. I have a CCF I could use as well...I could always bring thermals too. And for what its worth I have an AHE SCub pillow.

Whuddya think? Thanks for the input

There is definitely no option to bail once at the campsite. Its about 7 miles from the trailhead/parking lot to the campsites. So I would just tough it out like I'm sure we've all done. Its just was always camped on the ground so this under insulation is really new to me.

    Thanks for input!

I'd say go for it, but with a caveat. I think you will be cold (Maybe really cold), but you'll learn quickly what to adjust for next time and hey what "real hanger" has not experienced Cold Butt Syndrome (CBS). Have fun my friend.

Yea I am going to the Bold Coast! LOL, you been? I go to college about 20 mins from that place, you probably know which college .

Been there a whole bunch of times and it is the perfect over nighter right in our backyard...perfect!

And awesome, you all have me convinced to do it. I started recruiting friends to head out too
