Hello everyone, I'm just starting to learn about hammocks. I've been backpacking, climbing, and kayaking for years, and have always been looking for the lightest, yet most comfortable sleeping arrangement. I currently use a tarp and bivy sack, but sleeping on the ground is getting old...like me. I got interested in hammocks from watching Tinnys videos (from minibulldesign) which led me to Shugs videos. Looking forward to getting to know you guys.
Welcome to the family; from Newark, OH. The Ohio group tries to do a hang every month. Just check the calendar link up above to see where and when. Great group of people. Even if you don't have all your supplies yet and still ground dwelling, it's nice to get to a group hang and see how things are done. There is one at the end of this month at Zeleski, and one next month at Mohichan.
