Prussik's are great and can be used for many things
Nice! Great vid. I can see and understand what you are doing easily. Thanks for making / sharing this.
Great Vid... Explained well
Thanks
Great video. I do the reverse of your set up. I have the continuous loop prusik larksheaded on the tarp and the fixed loop goes to the stake. This allows adjustment from under the tarp which is handy in wet weather. Also it allows the guyline to be adjusted very short (as short as 4 inches on my guylines) if I want the tarp to be very close to the ground.

I'm having a hard time picturing this, because I'm such a noob at this. The ability to adjust this very short is a huge advantage, and I'd really like to understand this better. Do you have any pix of this setup? I mean that you already have -- I don't want you to go to the trouble of setting it up. Or maybe a link to someone else's picture that demonstrates the same technique?

gmcttr's picture looks like it could have been a picture of my tarp tie out Saved me looking for a picture. If you make the continuous loop smaller, you can get almost right down to the ground.
