I also had a bad experience with Fabricsupplier a while back. I ordered a couple of fabrics with identical descriptions. Two of the fabrics were what I expected, the other two were shoddily coated with silicone. The seller claimed not to know that the other two were coated. I don't know how you could have missed that when you cut the stuff. Then I had to pay return shipping.

If you're making a hammock than the 1.9 at Hancock would be great as I've used it to make one too.

However, if you want some downproof fabric than Rainshed has a lot of different colors including purple.

The purple stuff from Hancock weighs about 1.7oz/yd - I think it was 1.68. I've got 5 yards mostly into an UQ right now

Yes, Hancock is a good store. I just got some purple when it was on sale. I'm making a hammock for my little girl who just HAS to have purple!

Just got 5 yards from emma kites in hot pink for my wife it is kind of crunchy but it got here fast and looks great for being hot pink. It was only $25 shipped. After I show her how to sew I'll post picks of her's and my diy gathered end made from Hancock black ripstop.
